About the Fellowship

For the 2025 edition, the OBEL Award will award two teaching fellowships, each offering up to €75,000 in funding. These fellowships must be carried out in collaboration with a recognized academic institution, with the expectation that the selected courses will launch in 2026 or shortly afterward.

The theme for the 2025 fellowship cycle is “Ready Made”—a concept that encourages innovative reinterpretations of existing resources to advance sustainability and creativity in architecture and urban design.
