National College of Ireland has an extensive scholarship and bursary portfolio for international students which aims to reward excellence and promote diversity among our student body.

Please ensure that you read both the specific requirements for each scholarship and the overall Terms & Conditions for NCI scholarships. To secure your scholarship, you are required to pay your fees in full within the published deadlines for each scholarship.




Masters scholarships

The following scholarships are available for Masters courses.ย All students who receive an offer to study a Masters course at NCI are automatically assessed for these scholarships based upon their previous academic performance.ย There is no requirement for you to submit a scholarship application form for these scholarships.

Masterโ€™s Edge Scholarship โ€“ New

In response to current circumstances where, due to the economic impact of COVID-19 restrictions, the jobs market has been negatively impacted, NCI offers a 50% scholarship for any qualified NCI student or alumni who wishes to progress onto any full-time, day-timeย Masters at NCI, commencing in September 2021.

Higher Diploma Scholarship

The following scholarshipย isย available for the Higher Diploma in Science in Computing course.ย All students who receive an offer to study the Higher Diploma in Science in Computingย at NCI are automatically assessed for thisย scholarshipย based upon their previous academic performance.ย There is no requirement for you to submit a scholarship application form for thisย scholarship.

Entrepreneurship Scholarship

Theย following scholarshipย isย available for the MSc in Entrepreneurship coursesย starting in September only. You may apply forย thisย scholarshipย only once you have a full offer to study the MSc in Entrepreneurshipย at NCI by downloading theย attached form.ย The scholarship applicationย must be emailed toย international@ncirl.ieย by 30 April.

Claddagh Scholarship Programme 2021 โ€“ China

We are offering scholarships for both Bachelor degreeย and Master degree programmes under the Claddagh Scholarship Programme in China.ย Please note this scholarship is only openย toย Chinese citizens resident in China. Undergraduate Scholarships

The following scholarshipย isย available for Undergraduate courses when joining aย full programme from Year 1. All students who receive an offer to study an Undergraduate course at NCI are automatically assessed for these scholarships based upon a range of criteria, including their academic transcripts.ย There is no requirement for you to submit a scholarship application form for these scholarships.ย

NCI Presidentโ€™s Award 2021

This scholarshipย isย available to citizens of Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan,ย Brazil, Mexico andย Colombiaย ย who areย joining a full timeย Undergraduate programme from Year 1 and paying international student fees. You may apply forย thisย scholarshipย once you have anย offer to study a full time Undergraduateย programmeย at NCI by downloading theย attached form.ย The scholarship applicationย must be emailed toย international@ncirl.ieย The scholarship application deadline is 15 May 2021.ย To secure the scholarship students must pay their tuition fee before 30 June 2021.
