MESPOM Program Overview

The 24-month MESPOM program offers 120 ECTS credits and is structured across four renowned universities, giving students a well-rounded, international experience.

  • Year 1 (Fall and Winter): Begin with core courses at Central European University (Vienna), focusing on global environmental sustainability issues.
  • Year 1 (Spring): Move to the University of the Aegean (Lesvos, Greece) for specialized courses on environmental science, ecosystem management, and sustainable tourism.
  • Year 1 (Summer): Participate in an internship supervised by MESPOM faculty, held at partner institutions affiliated with the MESPOM Consortium.
  • Year 2 (Fall): Choose your area of specialization:
    • Lund University (Sweden): Environment, Industry, and Products.
    • University of Manchester (UK): Environment and Pollution Control.
  • Year 2 (Spring): Conduct your thesis research at any MESPOM Consortium institution, tailored to your academic and career interests.

Students can dive deep into cutting-edge subjects, including sustainable energy, climate change, biodiversity conservation, urban sustainability, and environmental security.
