Job Summary:

Provide the Chief Marketing Officer with administrative and general support by ensuring effective and efficient management and co-ordination of the workflow within and from the CMO’s office for the smooth running of the Marketing Division.

Job Role Key Tasks:

Key Tasks:

  • Coordinate and manage CMO’s diary, arrange and co-ordinate meetings when necessary, prepare minutes of meetings and prepare and manage a record system to keep track of confidential documents.
  • Act as the point of contact to the Executive, handling and distributing confidential mails, telephone calls, faxes, etc.
  • Follow up on minute actions, coordinate responses and escalate where required
  • Cross-examine documents for Exec’s review to ensure quality control and compliance to MTN policies.
  • Collate relevant activity reports from the different units within Marketing Division for Leadership meetings
  • Coordinate the organization of social events of the marketing Division. This includes preparing cost estimates, managing the budgets and coordinating all activities for the success of the programme.
  • Maintain and coordinate the supply of office stationery and equipment across all departments
  • Manage sensitive matters and information regarding peculiar issues within the division
  • Foster active collaboration and relationships with employees across all levels and divisions
  • Coordinate, manage and with administrative support drive strategic Business committee meetings (Business weekly Performance Meetings – War Room, Marketing weekly leadership meetings - Callover and Product and Services weekly committee meetings – PSCOM.

Education:

 

A Degree in a related field of study

 

Experience:

3 years’ experience in a similar role
