Applications Ongoing: Ingressive For Good/HNG 2021-2022 Internship Program for Young Africans
Ingressive For Good is offering African youths interested in building a skill in design (UI/UX, Graphics),. Front End development (HTML / CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS), Back End development (PHP, JavaScript, Python) or Mobile software development (Flutter, Java, Kotlin), free access to the HNG Internship’s program. Finalists will be added to the Ingressive For Good Alumni community and have the opportunity to access jobs, laptops and more. Ingressive For Good announced its partnership with HNG Internship to train 50,000 African youths in design and software development, in line with her commitment to increase their earning power.
The Internship is designed to surface the very best of candidates out of a large pool of participants. It is fast paced and challenging, and helps people learn how to work in teams, deal with pressure and quickly expand their knowledge.
The tracks available include:
- Mobile development: They do cross platform development using Flutter. You should already have basic skills and the computer to develop mobile applications
- Frontend development: In their client side track, participants are required to have prior knowledge of basic web languages, and most popular frameworks and libraries
- Backend development: Their backend consist of industry most popular languages. This allows you explore your options and makes it easier for you to get your dream job.
- UI/UX design: They only allow a very limited number of participants join the UI/UX track. However, you’ll get a chance to switch to another track mid program
About Ingressive For Good (I4G)
Ingressive for Good exists to equip young Africans in need with tech skills to help them impact and contribute to the development of Africa, socially and economically. Ingressive For Good (I4G) was created to address the glaring inequities that exist within African tech ecosystems. We award partial scholarships for tech final year students in need, to the Ivy Leagues of Africa. This financial support also provides a laptop for the student, to aid their education. Every student who receives this scholarship will automatically become a part of the I4G Alumni.

Requirements for Ingressive For Good/HNG Internship Program Qualification
- Anybody can apply.
- The Internship itself focuses on participants with prior experience either by going through the training phase, or self learning. However, if you have no prior experience, they still encourage you to apply, as you’ll learn a lot from the experience.
- If you have prior coding or design skills / knowledge. If you are a professional looking to connect with others. If you are looking for a challenge The internship is a fun-filled experience that runs like a game, join them, and you’ll come out better, even if you’re unable to complete the program.
