Africa Scholarship Fund Apply Now for Fully Funded Actuarial Support

The Africa Scholarship Fund is now open for applications for the April 2026 examination cycle. This initiative aims to empower aspiring actuaries across Africa who face financial challenges in achieving their professional qualifications.

The scholarship provides full support for selected candidates to take their Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) exams, starting with CS1 (Actuarial Statistics) and CM1 (Actuarial Mathematics).

About the Africa Scholarship Fund

The Africa Scholarship Fund is a specialized financial and academic support program created to promote actuarial education across Africa.

Launched in partnership with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), the scholarship helps break financial barriers for bright and motivated students who have the potential to excel in the actuarial profession but lack the necessary resources to begin their certification journey.

Beyond funding, this initiative also supports the IFoA’s global mission to increase diversity and inclusion in the actuarial profession—ensuring that talented individuals from underrepresented regions gain equal access to opportunities worldwide.
