🇨🇦 Canada Visa 2023: Manitoba August PNP Draw Issues 615 Invitations

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) recently conducted another round of invitations via its Expression of Interest (EOI) platform.

This represents Manitoba’s most recent EOI draw for the month of August.

In this recent MPNP draw, 615 Letters of Advice were extended across the three main MPNP streams:

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba
  • International Education Stream
  • Skilled Worker Overseas Stream

The eligible candidates for these invitations had CRS scores ranging from 605 to 708.



Skilled Worker in Manitoba

Focused Selection for Specific Occupations

  • Criteria: Profiles that showcased current employment in Manitoba in roles that align with high labor demand.
  • Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) Released: 249
  • Lowest ranking score of invited candidate: 605
  • Relevant Occupations: The following National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 groups were targeted:
    • 94: Machine operators, assemblers, and inspectors specializing in processing, manufacturing, and printing.
    • 95: Labor roles in processing, manufacturing, and utilities.

General Occupation Selection

  • Criteria: Profiles that weren’t chosen during the occupation-specific selection were reassessed.
  • LAAs Released: 279
  • Lowest ranking score of invited candidate: 647

International Education Stream

  • Criteria: Profiles that met the International Education Stream prerequisites.
  • LAAs Released: 47

Skilled Worker Overseas

  • Criteria: Profiles specifically invited by MPNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
  • LAAs Released: 40
  • Lowest ranking score of invited candidate: 708

Notably, out of the 615 LAAs dispatched during this session, 43 were allocated to aspirants who had provided a verified Express Entry profile number along with a job seeker validation code.
