🇱🇧 Fully Funded: The American University of Beirut (AUB) Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program 2023/2024
In collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation, the American University of Beirut (AUB) provides full scholarships.
Overview
The Scholars Program at AUB, sponsored by the Mastercard Foundation, is designed to equip young adults to become catalysts of change in their local communities, nations, and regions.
Scholars participate in various workshops, courses, and field studies in addition to the classes required for their degrees.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be nationals of African continent countries.
- Solid academic record in the prior degree
- Potential that surpasses financial capabilities
- A dedication to giving back to the community, country, and region Demonstrable leadership abilities
- A commitment to participate in all the supplemental learning experiences and workshops mandated by the Scholars Program
- Must be 35 years of age or under
The scholarship scheme is applicable to the following three online postgraduate programs:
- Master’s in Engineering Management (Online)
- Master’s in Computing in Education (Online)
- Master’s in Business Administration (Online)
Each Online Master’s course may have additional admission prerequisites. Please refer to the individual program webpages for further information.

Application Process
Prospective applicants should:
Step 1: Submit the AUB online postgraduate application and provide supporting documents by July 21, 2023.
Step 2: Fill out the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program Questionnaire by July 21, 2023.
Step 3: Forward RUSE scores by July 21, 2023.
CRUCIAL REMINDER: To be deemed complete, applicants must have finished (1) the AUB online postgraduate application, (2) the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program questionnaire, and (3) submitted RUSE scores.
