Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a Member State of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), a Small Island Developing State (SIDS), or a country with cultural, historical, or ethnic ties to Azerbaijan.
- Meet specific age requirements:
- Undergraduate/General Medicine: Under 35 years
- Master’s/Medical Residency: Under 40 years
- PhD Programs: Under 45 years
- Hold a minimum academic GPA of 70%.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction (English, Russian, Turkish, or Azerbaijani).
Application Process and Timeline
The application process is divided into two main stages:
First Stage: National Nomination
- March 15 – May 15, 2025: Applicants must submit their documents to designated national authorities (such as Ministries or Embassies).
Second Stage: Centralized Registration
- June 1 – June 15, 2025: Nominated candidates must register through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS) via portal.edu.az.
Final Selection and Enrollment
- June 16 – July 15, 2025: Applications are reviewed and evaluated.
- July 16 – July 31, 2025: Selected candidates are notified.
- September 15, 2025: Start of the academic year.
- September 30, 2025: Final date for arrival in Azerbaijan.
